Airport Master Plan is Done! This has been a major project for your airport board and manager for the past year. Airport Master plans are required by the FAA every 15-20 years if an airport wants to receive federal funding for any projects. If you'd like to take a look, click on the link above.

WAAS Is Here!! - Your tax dollars at work...We are very happy to be one of the first airports in Kansas with approved WAAS GPS approaches. This gives us near ILS minimums to runway 36 (250ft and 3/4 mile visibility) and significantly reduced minimums to runway 18 (400ft and 1 1/4 mile visibility)! Not only will our local pilots get home more consistently, but it will also help the airport boost fuel sales by attracting cross-country jet traffic.

ONLINE SCHEDULING: We also have a new online scheduling system for the rental aircraft. Now you can check the schedule and reserve the plane(s) from the comfort of your home via the internet. See the link on the left side of the screen. From there you will be able to request a Username and Password. We'll get you set up from there. McPherson EAA Chapter meetings: 3^rd Thursday of each month  (NEXT is Feb 21st) - usually in the airport terminal but call the airport to check for location changes. We have a great group of folks in the EAA chapter.  Anyone interested in aviation is encouraged to attend.

 McPherson Airport Authority meetings: 4^th Tuesday of each month (NEXT is Jan 22) - all meetings are open to the public.
